Sick Day

Yes, even the invincible Caralyn, blogger extraordinare, gets sick too.  The only problem, when I get sick, my snot likes to go the WRONG FRICKING WAY.  Ever heard of Post Nasal Drip (PND)? Well I have, and I get it EVERY POOPING TIME I get sick.  Normally, when a NORMAL human being gets sick, snot pours, dumps, drips, or glops out of their nose. But for myself, my snot like to just run down the back of my throat.  This causes my throat to be raw and hurt like so flipping bad. Observe my handsome chart:

Yes. Well.. I may not draw the best while I'm under the influence of Day-and-Night-quil.  Bear with me.

Anyways,  lemme just tell all you stalkers out there, that being sick is almost as awesome as getting a rubber band for Christmas. Almost as good, but not quite. So being sick means an achy back, tiredness, headaches, feeling hot and cold at the same time, and of course PND... by the Zeus it sucks so bad!

Well, bed rest calls. And I have more classes to skip!

How To Dress Shop with Your Roommate.

Hokay. Here is an equation for you. Roommate+ Pageant+ Need For Dress+ Me= The BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME EVER! ♥

So now that we decided that all the dresses were 2 sizes TOO ....tall.... We go to her house and babysit!!! YAY! This must mean we're SUPER BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!! I end up with Pokemon cards in my hand, and to my excitement..... ZUBAT!! My favourite Pokemon in the whole wide world!  So I tried to draw it on Paint.  How did I do?

The background makes it SUPER much better! Yes, SUPER much.

Then she didn't think I could draw Muk on paint... So I proved her SUPER wrong. Observe:
Totally proved her wrong! Ha!!

I think my paint skills are developing. Compare my first drawings from my first two blogs to that Zubat...♥ Sigh.. Zubat. I loveth thou.  I guess I should explain why I love Zubat so much... But that will be another blog. For now, I must accompany Roommate to her Pageant meeting! I hope they have food!! ...Probably not.. I don't think they approve of eating.... Oh well! I'll bring DONUTS! hahahaha!! Wish me luck! I hope I don't get kicked out!

A Blog for Boyfriend

Hello again! This post is specifically for my boyfriend! I was told that he would not give me and 10 out of 10 until I wrote about him. That sly booger! Of course I want a 10!!!!  So now I'm making this to appease my 10/10 need and satisfy Boyfriend as well! So let's get started! ♥

Boyfriend. This is you:

Sigh, so perfect.

Boyfriend, I love you. I may not be perfect, and I know you think you aren't. But YOUR WRONG. You ARE perfect.  You are the only man for me. Now, that that is out of my way....

My boyfriend is a TOTAL nerd. But here's the scoop, somehow, and I haven't figured it out yet, he plays video games constantly, but he rocks at soccer, has super hard muscles, says the sweetest things to me, and has me all figured out (Well, just about).

That's just how I draw soccer balls... ok?

Boyfriend and I have been through a lot together. I mean like, a lot a lot.  But somehow two, totally flow, duck's back kinda people, attract drama, and manage to make some drama for themselves.  We're really good at attracting this kind of attention. When in reality, we wish for it to go away so we can spend the rest of our lives together in peace.  Some how, no matter how ridiculous everyone around us is, he still wants to be with me! It's so comforting, knowing that even though crap happens, he still loves me.

Awwh! Psh! Enough about this lovey-dovey crap! What I mean to say is, I love him, and he totally can beat anyone in a Boyfriend contest. Now let me go make a blog that more people will enjoy.

HIP HIP HOORAY!!

Ever get something done? .....Let's just pretend you have! Well finally I have too! That CIS (Computer Integrated Sciences) class I was freaking out about testing out of? Well ba-bay, I did! Oh the sweet victory I feel! I could climb a mountain of lions, while riding a Mountain Lion.!! Dude, that sounds so awesome. Hold on... ok! Imagine this: (I made it easier to imagine! You're Welcome :) )

Pretty epic, huh?

To fully understand how amazing testing out of CIS is let me explain the situation:
If you DON'T test out of that class:
                1. You MURDER a mass amount of trees
                2. Waste LOADS of your hard-earned money to print
                3. Spend TONS money on ink
                4. Waste your TIME doing assignments you learned since Windows and Microsoft existed
                5. It's only a BUSY WORK class, you never learn anything new

If you DO test out of that class:
                1. Save the PLANET
                2. Have money to SPEND elsewhere
                3. Have INK to use on pretty pictures
                4. Get the CREDITS deserved for your foreknowledge
                5. Have a freaking LIFE!!!!

NOT TO TEST OUT.......................................... TO TEST OUT
Oh! The hard choice!

Hmmm..... Weighing my options.... I believe testing out was a smart choice. Go me!

The only tough thing about the whole testing out process, was that I had to pass 4 tests; Windows/Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.  And they are so tricky! You can only test out the second week of class, if you don't pass each section with an 80% or higher, you must actually take that section. Also, you can't retake ANY of the tests. It's DO... or DIE.

So I went in yesterday and Took Windows/Outlook and Word. I passed both with a 92% and a 85% respectively.  Then today I went back and took PowerPoint and Excel.  I wasn't sure how I would do on either, because I haven't used either in quite some time. But I took them anyways. Sure enough I passed Power Point with an 85%! Success! But the real problem had arrived.  I'm going to spew this out now, I, Caralyn Colson, do NOT like EXCEL. AT ALL. I mean it's great and all for charts, but i never make charts! and if i do, i like to do them with papers, a ruler, glue, sparkles, and rainbow markers! Not some super boring chart.

See? Mine is SOOOOO much better! Don't you agree?

Anyways, so I am just praying that I pass Excel. As I go through this test, I'm answering some questions right, and others, I'm like, "Whoa! That's Possible? I didn't know that! Excel, you've got talent." So obviously, I got those ones wrong. I'm down to the last 10 and I tell myself I better get these right, or man, do you really want to take Excel, no matter how much respect you've now developed for it? NO WAY. I get the last 10 right and the test score comes up. I'm like peeing my pants and shaking at the same time.... BAM! 80%.. Holy crap! That was close! By the skin of my teeth! (If my teeth had skin... that would be weird, huh?) So I print it and walk up there all smiley and they tell me I'm all set! I beat that boss!! Yeah!!! Haha!! Glorious feeling man, GA-LOR-RE-US!!!

Don't I look similar to Batman?

So now, I want to celebrate. So I must leave! Ta Ta!

Stressed Situations

So school has finally started. School, roommates, best friend, food, homework, friends, blogs, cleaning, birthdays, family, church, testing out, laundry, paying rent, personal hygiene -- all of it going on at the same exact time. No wonder so many people drop out of college! (Not saying I ever will!) How does the normal person put up with this CRAP?  Honestly, how do they?? When you find out let me know. This is how my life looks right now:

Wait.... Where am I?!?!

Hopefully it will get better. I'm in the middle of testing out of the Computer Integrated Sciences (CIS)  test, where they teach you how to use Microsoft and Windows XP. Good thing I have Windows 7 eh? Sigh, well, at least I know what I'm doing most of the time with Microsoft.  So tonight is study, study, study. Oh? Have you met my friend, Study? We are very close friends. Anyways, good thing it's a long weekend. Well, eventually it will be a long weekend, if I make it through the week.  Wish me luck!
