Distracted Driving

As none of you know, i have some mad ADD.  I get excited over the smallest things. What? A dog needs shots?? WOOPIEEE!! I LOVE giving shots!! It's always so exciting, getting excited over small things. Anyways, there is only one minor detail with this Disorder. I can't pay attention for the life of me. Even driving is dangerous. In my house the kids can only drive 1 car, and that is the gold Ford Areostar. A piece of crap van that is on it's last legs.... errr... wheels.
See? A golden turd on wheels.

Anywho,I had an appointment this morning at 8:30 so I had to drop off everyone at work/school and then take off to go get lost trying to find where the doctor's office was. Well, being in a hurry, and stressed with moving (I'm moving into an apartment with my best friend and 2 strangers), talking to the doctor about tumors, and getting there on time, I drop off my mom and my brother at the high school, and I am en route to the middle school, when I see a friend from church on the side of the road. I get super excited and wave and yell a hello to him, when I totally forgot to brake at the stop sign and some one was already waiting there.

So BAM! into the truck in front of me I go. We pull over to the side, I make all the children walk the rest of the way, and I get out to talk to the old-ish man. we inspect damages, and not a scratch is on his car, meanwhile, my rolling turd van is leaking radiator fluid left and right. The old man decides not to switch information with me, which is truly a blessing, and he and I go our separate ways.

I go to school to tell my mom, and she's somehow compassionate about the whole thing. Well, I take it to the shop, and the gosh dang hood wont even open, and I walk to work, and cancel my doctor's appointment.

The shop calls, its $300 to replace the radiator, so mom is looking at registering my brother's "Plig Rig."
It is the big blue thing.

I hate Mondays.

  3. Oooh! Oooh! Remember the time you got so freaked out while driving during a heavy rainstorm? You had started to hydroplane like the cars around you so you whipped out your cell phone to take pictures.
